Admin Console (Port 2087) Website Management Subdomains
BoostonCP Subdomain Management

Website Management • Subdomain Mode • Native 1920x1080 View

📌 Purpose & Quick Summary

Use Subdomain Mode to create independent sub-applications (such as api.yourdomain.com, blog.yourdomain.com, or staging.yourdomain.com) with their own isolated document roots and independent PHP versions.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions: Creating a Subdomain

  1. In the Add Website card, toggle the Subdomain Mode switch to ON.
  2. Subdomain Prefix: Enter the prefix (e.g., api or shop).
  3. Parent Domain: Select the primary domain from the dropdown (e.g., boostoncp.com).
  4. Isolated Document Root: BoostonCP automatically maps the folder to /www/wwwroot/api.boostoncp.com. You can change this if the subdomain should point to a subfolder of your main site (e.g., /public/api).
  5. PHP Version: Choose the PHP version required for this specific subdomain.
  6. Click Add Subdomain.
