📌 Purpose & Quick Summary

BoostonCP provides complete Per-Domain PHP Freedom. Each website can run a different PHP version (from PHP 7.4 through PHP 8.4) with its own isolated PHP-FPM process pool, memory ceiling, and custom extension profile.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions: Changing PHP Version

  1. Open website Config and select the PHP Version tab (#tab-php).
  2. From the Select PHP Version dropdown, choose the version you need (e.g., PHP 8.3).
  3. Click Switch PHP Version. BoostonCP updates the Nginx upstream socket path and reloads the worker pool instantly.

🛠️ Customizing php.ini Directives (Tab 6: PHP Configuration)

Under Tab 6, you can adjust resource limits specifically for this domain:

  • memory_limit: E.g., 256M or 512M for heavy WordPress WooCommerce sites.
  • upload_max_filesize & post_max_size: E.g., 128M for large video and image uploads.
  • max_execution_time: E.g., 300 seconds for long import tasks. Click Save PHP Settings to apply changes.
