We only collect the data necessary to maintain and authorize your licensing access to the BoostonCP platform. This includes:

Primary email address for communication and billing.
IP addresses of your synchronized server nodes.
Hardware signatures for license key validation.

2. Data Security & Encryption

All sensitive information, including your account access keys and passwords, is securely hashed using industry-standard Argon2id or BCrypt algorithms. We do not store plain-text credentials.

3. Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell, lease, or share your telemetry or contact data with third-party advertising entities. Data is shared exclusively with essential payment processors and gateways to facilitate safe financial transactions.

4. Google Drive Integration (Remote Backups)

BoostonCP provides an automated backup feature within the Hosting Control Panel. Users can choose to connect their personal Google Drive account to store website backups securely.

Security & Privacy Assurance:

Restricted Scope (drive.file): Our application requests access using the minimum possible permission scope. We can only read and manage files and folders created by BoostonCP itself. We have zero access to your personal photos, documents, or other pre-existing files.
Data Sovereignty: This feature empowers users with total data freedom. Your backups are stored in your own private Google storage, not on our servers. You retain 100% ownership and control over your data.
Direct Connection: The backup transmission occurs directly between your server node and Google's API. BoostonCP's central servers never intercept, read, or store your backup contents or authentication tokens.
Purpose: This integration is designed solely to provide a resilient disaster recovery solution, ensuring business continuity without provider lock-in.

5. Security Logs

Our security core logs system access attempts to detect potential security breaches and protect platform integrity. These logs are stored securely for 30 days and are then automatically purged.

6. Cookies & Session Management

We use essential cookies to maintain user session states and billing actions. No tracking or marketing cookies are deployed for advertising purposes.
