📌 Purpose & Quick Summary

The Reseller Dashboard (index.php?page=dashboard) serves as the administrative command cockpit for web hosting resellers. Operating on dedicated Port 2085, it provides real-time visibility into your entire client ecosystem. From this central dashboard, you can track sub-account allocations, monitor disk space and bandwidth quotas across all tenant accounts, inspect recent deployment activities, and launch 1-click management shortcuts.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Accessing the Reseller Control Panel

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to https://server.boostonserver.com:2085/ (or your whitelabeled reseller hostname on Port 2085).
  2. Enter your Reseller ID and Password, then click Uplink Node.
  3. (Alternative for Administrators): In the Admin Panel (Port 2087) on the Reseller Management page, click the Login to Reseller Panel button next to any reseller identity to authenticate via an encrypted bridge token.

Step 2: Monitoring Quota Ceilings

  1. Check the Sub-Accounts Quota gauge. If your account count reaches 100%, new client account deployments will be blocked until older accounts are removed or your package is upgraded.
  2. Monitor the Disk Space Allocation bar. This tracks the combined usage of all client files, mailboxes, and MySQL databases.
  3. Review the Bandwidth Consumption gauge near the end of your billing cycle to avoid network throttling.

Step 3: Launching Client Management

  1. Click Deploy New User in the Quick Actions box to immediately provision your first client website.
  2. Click Configure Packages to review or modify the resource boundaries assigned to your hosting plans.

❓ Troubleshooting & Common Errors

1. Dashboard Displays "Connection Error / Session Expired"

  • Cause: Browser inactivity timeout or desynchronized bridge token.
  • Solution: Refresh the browser page using Ctrl + F5. If required, re-login using your reseller credentials on Port 2085.

2. Quota Gauges Show Discrepancy with Client Disk Usage

  • Cause: Linux filesystem quotas cache space in memory and sync periodically.
  • Solution: Click the Reload button in the upper-right header to force an immediate kernel quota resynchronization.
