📌 Purpose & Quick Summary

Disaster recovery is a core value proposition of any hosting reseller. The Backups console (index.php?page=backups) provides an overarching backup management interface across all your client accounts. You can trigger on-demand snapshots of customer websites, configure automated recurring backup schedules, and manage off-site storage vaults (FTP, SFTP, and Local) to guarantee data safety.

❓ Troubleshooting & Common Errors

1. Backup Fails Due to Quota Exhaustion

  • Cause: Creating a full backup temporarily duplicates disk usage during compression.
  • Solution: Configure a Remote FTP/SFTP Vault so archives stream directly to external storage without consuming local reseller quota.
