Use the Malware Scanner to protect your server from malicious PHP webshells, base64 obfuscated backdoors, cryptocurrency miners, and infected WordPress plugins using the BoostonCP Sentinel Malware Engine.

🖥️ Interface Tour & Elements

  1. Scanner Metrics Banner: Shows total scanned files, detected threats, and quarantined items.
  2. Start Scan Card: Allows initiating a Quick Scan, Full Server Scan, or Single Website Scan.
  3. Quarantine Vault Table: Lists detected threats with file path, malware signature name, detection date, and Quarantine / Restore / Delete actions.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions: Scanning a Website

  1. Navigate to Security > Malware Scanner.
  2. Select your scan target:
    • Choose Single Domain and select the website from the dropdown.
  3. Click Start Scan Now.
  4. The scan runs asynchronously in the background. You can monitor live progress or close the page.
  5. If malware is detected:
    • The file is highlighted in red in the Threat Table.
    • Click Quarantine to instantly isolate the file into /var/sentinel/quarantine/ (stripping execute permissions so it cannot execute).
