Use the Archive Studio to bundle files and directories into compressed .zip or .tar.gz files for easy download, or unpack uploaded archives directly on the server without needing command-line tools.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions: Compressing Files

  1. Select the checkboxes next to the files or folders you want to compress.
  2. Click Compress on the toolbar or right-click and select Zip.
  3. In the modal:
    • Archive Name: Type a filename (e.g., backup_site.zip).
    • Format: Select ZIP (standard universal) or TAR.GZ (high Linux compression).
  4. Click Create Archive.

  1. Locate any .zip, .tar.gz, or .tar file in the table.
  2. Right-click and choose Extract (or click the unzip icon).
  3. Specify the destination folder (or keep default to unpack in current directory).
