Use the Migration Center to import accounts from legacy control panels (cPanel/WHM full backup .tar.gz files or live aaPanel nodes) into BoostonCP. It extracts files, imports databases, recreates email accounts, and maps virtual hosts automatically.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions: Migrating from a cPanel Backup

  1. Navigate to Migration Center.
  2. Select Import cPanel Backup Archive.
  3. Choose whether to upload the cPanel .tar.gz backup file or specify a local file path on the server.
  4. Click Analyze Backup Archive. BoostonCP parses the archive, showing detected domains, MySQL databases, and mailboxes.
  5. Click Execute Migration. BoostonCP provisions the tenant user, unpacks document roots, restores databases, imports maildirs, and issues Let's Encrypt SSL certificates automatically.
