📌 Purpose & Quick Summary

The Automation Engine continuously monitors core server services (Nginx, MariaDB, PHP-FPM pools, Postfix, Redis). If a service crashes or becomes unresponsive due to memory pressure, the watchdog automatically restarts it in under 3 seconds and logs an event.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions: Enabling Service Watchdogs

  1. Navigate to Automation from the sidebar.
  2. Toggle the watchdog switches for services you wish to protect:
    • Nginx Auto-Heal: Restarts webserver if HTTP probes fail.
    • MySQL OOM Sentinel: Recovers database service if killed by Linux kernel Out-Of-Memory killer.
    • PHP-FPM Worker Watchdog: Recycles stuck zombie worker pools.
  3. Click Save Automation Rules.
