Setting up reverse proxy rules for subdomains in Websites settings

POSTED BY: nginx_guru ACTIVE_MEMBER POSTED ON: Jun 21, 2026 CATEGORY: GUIDE
I have an API running on port 3000 and want it accessible on `api.mydomain.com`. How do I bind the proxy route?

Go to the **Websites** page -> click **Manage** next to `api.mydomain.com` -> open the **Reverse Proxy** tab -> click **Add Proxy Rule** -> enter port 3000 -> click **Save**.
